§ 35-3-1 NMSA 1978

Jurisdiction; administration of oaths

1953 Comp., § 36-3-1, enacted by Laws 1968, ch. 62, § 46.

Magistrates may administer oaths and affirmations and take acknowledgments of instruments in writing, but shall charge no fee therefor. Magistrates may acquire appropriate seals for this purpose.
