§ 46-11-202 NMSA 1978

Nontransferability

Known as the Uniform Powers of Appointment Act

The act spans §§ 46–46 (38 sections).

A powerholder shall not transfer a power of appointment. If a powerholder dies without exercising or releasing a power, the power lapses.
