“Deploying parent” defined

Known as the Uniform Deployed Parents Custody and Visitation Act

The act spans §§ 125C.001 to 125C.250 (84 sections).

“Deploying parent” means a service member or civilian employee who is deployed or has been notified of impending deployment, and is:

1. A parent of a child under the laws of this State other than NRS 125C.0601 to 125C.0693, inclusive; or

2. A person other than a parent who has custodial responsibility of a child under the laws of this State other than NRS 125C.0601 to 125C.0693, inclusive.
