Determination of claims to property

Known as the Independent Administration of Estates Act

The act spans §§ 143–143 (99 sections).

(Added to NRS by 2011, 1442)

The personal representative who has limited authority or full authority has the power to allow, compromise or settle any of the following:

1. A third-party claim to real or personal property if the decedent died in possession of, or holding title to, the property; or

2. The decedent’s claim to real or personal property, title to or possession of which is held by another.
