Prohibition against applying forfeitures to increase benefits

Known as the Legislators’ Retirement Law

The act spans §§ 218–218 (36 sections).

(Added to NRS by 1991, 2370; A 2011, 823)

Forfeitures must not be applied to increase the benefits any member would otherwise receive pursuant to the provisions governing the Legislators’ Retirement System as provided by section 401(a)(8) of the Internal Revenue Code, 26 U.S.C. § 401(a)(8).
