NRS 269.173

Application for license, certificate or permit must include social security number of applicant. [Effective until the date of the repeal of 42 U.S.C. § 666, the federal law requiring each state to establish procedures for withholding, suspending and restricting the professional, occupational and recreational licenses for child support arrearages and for noncompliance with certain processes relating to paternity or child support proceedings.]

The act spans §§ 269–269 (137 sections).

(Added to NRS by 1997, 2045; A 2015, 2671)

1. An application for the issuance of a license, permit or certificate to practice a profession or occupation pursuant to NRS 269.170 must include the social security number of the applicant.

2. As used in this section, “license, permit or certificate to practice a profession or occupation” does not include a general business license issued by a town board or board of county commissioners.
