Dissolution

Known as the Unincorporated Town Government Law

An unincorporated town operating pursuant to the provisions of the Unincorporated Town Government Law may be dissolved by resolution of the board of county commissioners following a public hearing at which residents of the town are given an opportunity to speak. The resolution must specify the reasons for the dissolution.
