NRS 333.105

General Counsel: Appointment; classification; qualifications; private practice of law restricted

Known as the State Purchasing Act

The act spans §§ 333–333 (94 sections).

(Added to NRS by 2017, 1538)

1. The Administrator may appoint a General Counsel of the Purchasing Division.

2. The General Counsel appointed pursuant to subsection 1:

(a) Is in the unclassified service of the State.

(b) Must be an attorney in good standing licensed and admitted to practice law in this State.

(c) Except as otherwise provided in NRS 7.065, shall not engage in the private practice of law.
