NRS 394.1609

Certain rights not affected by provisions

Known as the Private Elementary and Secondary Education Authorization Act

The act spans §§ 394–394 (195 sections).

Nothing in NRS 394.1605 to 394.161, inclusive, shall be construed to:

1. Prevent a governing body of a private school from:

(a) Conducting further investigations of a prospective employee; or

(b) Requiring an applicant to submit additional information or authorizations beyond what is required by NRS 394.16065, 394.1607 and 394.16075.

2. Prohibit a person or governmental entity from disclosing more information than is required by NRS 394.16065, 394.1607 and 394.16075.

3. Relieve a person of a duty to report prescribed by NRS 432B.220 or any other provision of state or federal law.
