“Trauma-informed response” defined

“Trauma-informed response” means a response involving an understanding of the complexities of power-based violence, including, without limitation:

1. Perpetrator methodology;

2. Conducting an effective investigation;

3. The neurobiological causes and impacts of trauma; and

4. The influence of social myths and stereotypes surrounding the causes and impacts of trauma.
