Army and air technicians

Army and air technicians are by law federal employees and civilian employees of the United States Army or the United States Air Force, as determined by their service assignments. As federal employees, technicians are subject to all civil service laws and Civil Service Commission and Department of Defense civilian personnel rules and regulations, and to National Guard Bureau regulations.
