“Water quality standard” defined

Known as the Nevada Water Pollution Control Law

“Water quality standard” means the degree of pollution of water or the physical, chemical or biological condition of water, as expressed numerically or descriptively, used for controlling the quality of water in each segment of a stream and each other body of surface water in this State.
