NRS 445A.940

Notification to Division or district board of health and user of water system by supplier of water

Known as the Nevada Water Pollution Control Law

The act spans §§ 445–445 (200 sections).

(Added to NRS by 1977, 445; A 2005, 557; 2025, 2849)

1. A supplier of water shall immediately notify the Division or, if designated pursuant to NRS 445A.853, the district board of health and the users of the supplier’s public water system whenever:

(a) The system is not in compliance with the primary drinking water standards;

(b) The supplier fails to perform any required monitoring of water quality;

(c) The supplier has been granted a variance or exemption by the Commission; or

(d) The supplier fails to comply with the conditions imposed by the Commission in granting the variance or exemption.

2. The notification must be in the form and manner prescribed by the Division.
