Provision of care by facility for hospice care

Known as the Nevada Health Facilities Assistance Act

The act spans §§ 449–449 (272 sections).

A licensed facility for hospice care may provide any of the following levels of care for terminally ill patients:

1. Medical care for a patient who is in an acute episode of illness;

2. Skilled nursing care;

3. Intermediate care;

4. Custodial care; and

5. Palliative services.
