NRS 459A.010

“Public utility” defined

(Added to NRS by 1989, 737; A 1997, 2005)

As used in this chapter, “public utility” means any person who furnishes electricity to other persons. The term includes municipal utilities but does not include persons who furnish electricity only in emergencies or persons described in subsection 4 of NRS 704.021.
