A person shall not cause or knowingly permit his or her child or ward under the age of 18 years to drive a motor vehicle upon any highway when the minor is not authorized under the provisions of NRS 483.010 to 483.630, inclusive, or is in violation of any of the provisions of NRS 483.010 to 483.630, inclusive, or if the minor’s license is revoked or suspended pursuant to title 5 of NRS or NRS 392.148. It is a misdemeanor for a person to violate this section.
