Requirements for licensure as instructor for school

Known as the Uniform Motor Vehicle Drivers’ License Act

The act spans §§ 483–483 (215 sections).

An applicant for a license as an instructor for a school for training drivers must:

1. Be of good moral character;

2. Pass such examination as the Department may require on traffic laws, safe driving practices and operation of motor vehicles;

3. Be physically able to operate a motor vehicle safely and train others in the operation of motor vehicles;

4. Hold a valid Nevada driver’s license; and

5. Be 21 years of age or older.
