No number or decal other than the number or decal awarded to a vessel or granted reciprocity pursuant to the provisions of this chapter may be painted, attached or otherwise displayed on either side of the bow of such vessel. Only the current decal may be displayed or otherwise attached on either side of the bow of such vessel.
