Board of adjustment: Number, appointment and terms of members

Known as the Conservation Districts Law

1. The board of adjustment shall consist of three members appointed by the Commission, with the advice and approval of the supervisors of the district or districts for which the board has been established.

2. Each member shall be appointed for a term of 3 years, except that the members first appointed shall be appointed for terms of 1, 2 and 3 years, respectively.

3. Members of the Commission and the supervisors of the district or districts shall be ineligible to appointment as members of the board of adjustment during their tenure of such other office.
