NRS 597.7629

“Food dispensing establishment” defined. [Effective through June 30, 2027.]

Known as the Infant Crib Safety Act

The act spans §§ 597–597 (272 sections).

1. “Food dispensing establishment” means a food establishment that prepares and serves food intended for immediate consumption. The term includes, without limitation, a restaurant. The term does not include a convenience store or a grocery store.

2. As used in this section:

(a) “Convenience store” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 597.225.

(b) “Food establishment” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 580.050.

(c) “Grocery store” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 597.225.

1. “Food dispensing establishment” means a food establishment or a cottage food operation that prepares and serves food intended for immediate consumption. The term includes, without limitation, a restaurant. The term does not include a convenience store or a grocery store.

2. As used in this section:

(a) “Convenience store” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 597.225.

(b) “Cottage food operation” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 585.710.

(c) “Food establishment” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 580.050.

(d) “Grocery store” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 597.225.
