NRS 62E.140

Permitting child to reside without immediate supervision of adult or exempting child from mandatory attendance at school under certain circumstances

(Added to NRS by 2003, 1062)

The juvenile court may permit a child to reside in a residence without the immediate supervision of an adult, exempt the child from mandatory attendance at school so that the child may be employed full-time, or both, if the child:

1. Is at least 16 years of age;

2. Has demonstrated the capacity to benefit from this placement or exemption; and

3. Is under the strict supervision of the juvenile court.
