NRS 677.850

Accepting deposits with knowledge of insolvency of company or violation of chapter

Known as the Nevada Thrift Companies Act

The act spans §§ 677–677 (106 sections).

(Added to NRS by 1975, 1846; A 1983, 1829; 1985, 2211; 1987, 2012; 1995, 1318)

Each officer or employee of any company who accepts deposits knowing:

1. That the company is insolvent; or

2. That the acceptance violates any provision of this chapter or any order or regulation of the Commissioner,

Ê is guilty of a category D felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130.
