Supervision of motor carriers separate from supervision of brokers

Known as the Interstate Highway User Fee Apportionment Act

The authority of the Nevada Transportation Authority to supervise and regulate motor carriers and brokers respectively, to the extent provided in this chapter, must be exercised separately. A motor carrier is responsible only for the motor carrier’s own acts and those of the motor carrier’s employees or agents who are not brokers. A broker is responsible only for the broker’s own acts and those of the broker’s employees or agents who are not motor carriers.
