Power of Authority to order repairs of facilities and use of safety appliances
Known as the Interstate Highway User Fee Apportionment Act
The act spans §§ 706–706 (285 sections).

The Authority may, in the interest of safety or service, after hearing:
1. Determine and order repairs of facilities of common and contract motor carriers; and
2. Order the use of safety appliances by such carriers in the interest of the public and employees.
