§ 1200. Unclaimed property paid or deposited in federal courts. All\nmoney or other property which shall have been, or shall hereafter be,\npaid into or deposited in the custody of, or be under the control of,\nany court of the United States in and for any district within the state,\nor shall have been or hereafter shall be in the custody of any\ndepository, registry, clerk, or other officer of such court, and the\nrightful owner or owners thereof either (a) shall have been or shall be\nunknown for a period of ten consecutive years; or (b) shall have died or\nshall die without having disposed thereof, and without having left or\nwithout leaving a will disposing thereof, and without having left or\nwithout leaving heirs, next-of-kin, or distributees; or (c) shall have\nabandoned or shall abandon such funds or property, are declared to have\nescheated or to escheat, together with all interest accrued thereon, to\nand to have become or to become the property of the state.\n
