§ 31.05. Printing, publishing or selling copyrighted musical\ncomposition without consent of owner. Whoever prints, publishes, sells,\ndistributes or circulates, or causes to be printed, published, sold,\ndistributed or circulated for profit any circular, pamphlet, card,\nhandbill, advertisement, printed paper, book, newspaper or other\ndocument containing the words or musical score of any musical\ncomposition which or any part of which is copyrighted under the laws of\nthe United States, without first having obtained the consent of the\nowner or proprietor of such copyrighted musical composition, is guilty\nof a misdemeanor.\n
