N.Y. Cannabis Law § 108

§ 108. Hemp workgroup. The board, in consultation with the\ncommissioner of the department of agriculture and markets, may appoint a\nNew York state hemp and hemp extract workgroup, composed of growers,\nresearchers, producers, processors, manufacturers and trade\nassociations, to make recommendations for the industrial hemp and\ncannabinoid hemp programs, state and federal policies and policy\ninitiatives, and opportunities for the promotion and marketing of\ncannabinoid hemp and hemp extract as consistent with federal and state\nlaws, rules and regulations.\n
