N.Y. Cooperative Corporations Law § 4

§ 4. Applicability. This chapter applies to (a) every corporation\nheretofore or hereafter formed under this chapter, or under any other\ngeneral statute or special act of this state, which would, if it were to\nbe formed currently under the laws of this state, be formed under this\nchapter, and (b) every corporation formed under laws other than the\nstatutes of this state to the extent provided in section five and\nsection seventy-six of this chapter.\n
