§ 395. Applications to state commissioner of health. On and after\nJanuary first, nineteen hundred forty-seven, whenever a person alleged\nto be suffering from tuberculosis is unable to gain admission to an\nappropriate tuberculosis hospital for necessary diagnostic or treatment\nservices, such person may make application to the state commissioner of\nhealth for admission to an appropriate tuberculosis hospital for such\nservices, treatment and care. The cost of such services and treatment\nand of the maintenance of such patient shall be subject to the\nprovisions of section fifty-four and other applicable provisions of the\npublic health law.\n
