§ 475. Clerk of the board; term; duties. 1. The board of supervisors\nshall appoint a clerk who shall serve during the pleasure of the board\nand until his successor is appointed and has qualified.\n 2. The clerk shall keep a record of all acts and proceedings of the\nboard and be the custodian of the records, vouchers and other papers\nrequired or authorized by law to be deposited in his office. He shall\nhave custody of all policies of insurance of all types carried on the\ncorporate property of the county and shall keep a record properly\nindexed showing the property, name of insurance carrier, amount of\ninsurance and date of expiration of all policies. He shall prepare the\ntax rolls, except when otherwise directed by the board of supervisors.\nHe shall perform such additional and related duties as may be prescribed\nby law and directed by the board of supervisors.\n
