N.Y. Economic Development Law § 232

§ 232. Assistance of other agencies. To effectuate the purposes of\nthis article, the commissioner may request from any department,\ndivision, board, bureau, commission or other agency of the state or from\nany public benefit corporation or public authority, and the same are\nauthorized to provide, such assistance, services and data as will enable\nthe department to properly carry out its functions, powers and duties\nhereunder.\n
