N.Y. Crim. Proc. Law § 440.55

§ 440.55 Notice to education department where a licensed professional\n has been convicted of a felony.\n The district attorney shall give written notification to the\ndepartment of education upon the conviction of a felony of any person\nholding a license pursuant to title eight of the education law. In\naddition, the district attorney shall give written notification to the\ndepartment upon the vacatur or reversal of any felony conviction of any\nsuch person.\n
