§ 570.22 Authority of arresting officer.\n Every such police officer or other person empowered to make the\narrest, shall have the same authority, in arresting the accused to\ncommand assistance therein, as police officers have by law in the\nexecution of any criminal process directed to them, with like penalties\nagainst those who refuse their assistance.\n
