Severability

§ 86. Severability. If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or\npart of this article shall be adjudged by any court of competent\njurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair, or\ninvalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be confined in its operation\nto the clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, section, or part\nthereof directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment\nshall have been rendered. It is hereby declared to be the intent of the\nlegislature that this article would have been enacted even if such\ninvalid provisions had not been included herein.\n
