§ 75-d. International application of article. 1. A court of this state\nshall treat a foreign country as if it were a state of the United States\nfor the purpose of applying this title and title two of this article.\n 2. Except as otherwise provided in subdivision three of this section,\na child custody determination made in a foreign country under factual\ncircumstances in substantial conformity with the jurisdictional\nstandards of this article must be recognized and enforced under title\nthree of this article.\n 3. A court of this state need not apply this article if the child\ncustody law of a foreign country as written or as applied violates\nfundamental principles of human rights.\n
