§ 290. Acceptance of law of the United States. The state of New York\nhereby accepts all of the provisions and the benefits of an act passed\nby the senate and house of representatives of the United States of\nAmerica, in congress assembled, entitled "An act to provide for the\npromotion of vocational education; to provide for cooperation with the\nstates in the promotion of such education in agriculture and the trades\nand industries; to provide for co-operation with the states in the\npreparation of teachers of vocational subjects; and to appropriate money\nand regulate its expenditure," approved February twenty-third, nineteen\nhundred seventeen.\n
