§ 17-146. Offender a competent witness; witnesses' immunity. 1. A\nperson offending against any section of this article is a competent\nwitness against another person so offending and may be compelled to\nattend and testify on any trial, hearing or proceeding or investigation\nin the same manner as any other person.\n 2. In any criminal proceeding before a court or grand jury for a\nviolation of any of the provisions of this article, the court or grand\njury may confer immunity in accordance with the code of criminal\nprocedure.\n
