§ 11-1211. Savings clause.\n If any word, clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or other part of\nthis title is adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be\ninvalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair, or invalidate the\nremainder of this title, but shall be confined in its operation to the\nword, clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or other part thereof,\ndirectly involved in the controversy in which such judgment is rendered.\n
