N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law § 19-1101

§ 19-1101. Definitions.\n For purposes of this article, the following terms shall have the\nfollowing meanings:\n 1. "motor vehicle" shall mean a passenger vehicle, light-duty truck\nwith a gross vehicle weight of eighty-five hundred pounds or less, or\nany other vehicle determined by the commissioner to be a vehicle whose\nprimary use is noncommercial personal transportation and which is\nmanufactured for the model year two thousand ten or subsequent model\nyear; and\n 2. "motor vehicle global warming gases" or "global warming gases"\nshall mean carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons,\nperfluorocarbons, and sulfur hexafluoride.\n
