§ 1-1.1 Short title; how cited\n This chapter shall be known as the Estates, Powers and Trusts Law and\nmay be cited as EPTL. A section of this law may be cited by article,\npart and section number, to wit, EPTL 1-1.1, which refers to article 1,\npart 1, section 1, without being preceded by the word article, part or\nsection or the symbol §.\n
