§ 1004. Payment of charges. A consumer may only be required to pay\ncharges to a litigation funding company when the resolution of any of\nthe consumer's legal claims subject to a contract is final, related\nappeals, if any, have been resolved, and proceeds of the settlement,\njudgment, award or verdict have been received by the consumer's counsel.\n
