§ 3-d. Receipts and disbursements of payrolls. By resolution duly\nadopted, the common council or other legislative body of the city, may\ndetermine to enter into a contract to provide for the deposit of the\nperiodic payroll of the city in a bank or trust company for disbursal by\nit in accordance with provisions of section ninety-six-b of the banking\nlaw.\n
