N.Y. Jud. Law § 248

§ 248. Compensation of members and officers of the court. The writ and\nprocess of the court must be signed by the clerk and attested in the\nname of the president of the senate. The president of the senate and\neach senator are entitled to receive for their services and expenses\nwhile actually attending the court the same rate of compensation as an\nassociate judge of the court of appeals is entitled by law to receive\nfor his services and expenses as such judge for the same time. The other\nofficers of the court, excepting the judges of the court of appeals, are\nentitled to the same compensation for their attendance thereon, and for\ntraveling to and from the place where it is held, as is allowed them for\nattending a meeting of the senate, but no such compensation shall be\nreceived for attending the court during a session of the legislature.\n
