§ 363. Compensation of criers in each county except Kings and Erie.\nThe crier appointed pursuant to section two hundred of this chapter by\nthe county judge of each county, except Kings and Erie, to be crier for\nthe courts of record held in his county is entitled to a compensation to\nbe fixed by the board of supervisors and to be paid as prescribed by\nlaw, except in the county of Westchester where the compensation of such\ncrier shall be fixed by the county judge, not to exceed the sum of one\nthousand two hundred dollars a year to be paid in equal monthly payments\nby the treasurer of Westchester county in full compensation for all\nservices rendered by him, and except in the county of Queens, where such\ncrier shall receive an annual salary to be fixed by the county judges of\nsaid county, to be paid in equal monthly payments and to be a county\ncharge.\n
