§ 9.19 Voluntary and informal admissions; notices.\n The director shall cause all patients admitted as voluntary or\ninformal patients to be informed once during each one hundred twenty\ndays of hospitalization of their status and rights, including their\nright to avail themselves of the facilities of the mental hygiene legal\nservice. At the time of such periodic notification, the written consent\nof a patient to his continued stay as a voluntary or informal patient\nshall be obtained and a copy thereof shall be given to the mental\nhygiene legal service.\n
