§ 8. Punishment for failure to appear. Any member of the unorganized\nmilitia who is ordered to register or to be drafted into the organized\nmilitia under the provision of this chapter and who fails to appear at\nthe time and place designated in such order shall be guilty of a\nmisdemeanor.\n
