§ 139-c. Officer unlawfully detaining wrecked property. An officer,\nwhose duties pertain in any way to wrecked property, who, without\nauthority of law, detains such property or proceeds thereof, after the\nsalvage and expenses chargeable thereon have been paid or offered to\nhim, or who is guilty of any fraud in the discharge of such duties, is\nguilty of a misdemeanor.\n
