§ 182. Claims against the fund. Claims shall be filed with the\nadministrator not later than three years after the date of discovery of\ndamage nor later than ten years after the date of the incident which\ncaused the damage. The administrator shall prescribe appropriate forms\nand procedures for such claims, which shall include a provision\nrequiring the claimant to make a sworn verification of the claim to the\nbest of his knowledge. Any person who knowingly gives or causes to be\ngiven any false information as a part of any such claim shall, in\naddition to any other penalties herein or elsewhere prescribed, be\nguilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to one thousand\ndollars or up to one year imprisonment. Upon receipt of any claim, the\nadministrator shall as soon as practicable inform all affected parties\nof the claim.\n
