§ 98. Application of article. The provisions of this article shall not\napply to vessels navigating under a coastwise license and employed in\nthe coasting trade. If, however, any such vessel shall employ a pilot\nlicensed under the provisions of this article, such pilot shall be\nentitled to receive as compensation for his services pilotage fees in an\namount not to exceed the rates established by this article.\n
