N.Y. Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law § 29.13

§ 29.13 Pending actions and proceedings. No action or proceeding\npending at the time when this act shall take effect, brought by or\nagainst any board, trust, council or commission and pertaining to any\nfunction, power or duty transferred to the office by this act, shall be\naffected by any other provision of this act, but the same may be\nprosecuted or defended in the name of the commissioner or the office,\nand upon application to the court, the commissioner or office shall be\nsubstituted as a party.\n
